​The Andrea Brown Literary Agency offers a paid 10-week summer mentorship focused on the agenting side of children's book publishing. The entire ABLA team engages with the mentee to introduce the career of agenting, offering hands-on experience with evaluating queries, networking with editors, and guidance on how to provide editorial feedback, write pitches, and negotiate.

Applications for our 2023 program are now closed. We will be opening to applications for next year in spring 2024.

**ABLA is an Industry Partner with WNDB and aligns its mentorship program with the requirements for WNDB's Internship Grant Program which awards supplemental internship grants to applicants from diverse backgrounds to help further their goals of pursuing a career in publishing.
